Welcometo my new look website. It now reflects the

full range of books that I make, not just the celebration
ones.

I originally trained as a textile artist but now think of
myself more as a mixed media artist with a passion
for making books.
I make a wide variety of books, some of which are
blank notebooks or sketchbooks, some are folded
blank books that are intended to display photos or
maybe calligraphy or small paintings. I also take
commissions for celebration books which are
free standing structures displaying photos from a
special occasion like a wedding or christening. I
have also made books to celebrate a 90th birthday
and a diamond wedding.
My current obsession is with artists' books made
from recycled Ordnance Survey maps. These allow
me to explore many different folded structures.
Someof them are extremely tactile and move in your
hands almost as if they are alive.

The photos in the portfolio opposite show many of
the books and further pages describe them and give
examples of prices. The price of postage will be
added to all prices shown on the site.
